The kindness of the Sunims, the surrounding nature, the peace, the fact that your work really means a lot in helping the whole community out. When I left, I left as an enriched person. This experience was beyond anything we could have hoped for! It was truly beautiful and unique, and we hope to return in the future if possible. The center is a wonderful place for both beginners like us who want to learn about the Center for experienced meditators as well. From the delicious food and peaceful surroundings to the meaningful time spent helping out and learning from the Sunims, everything was deeply rewarding. We're so grateful to all of the Sunims for welcoming us so warmly, taking care of us, and patiently answering all of our questions. Thank you for everything! 🌟🫶🏼

My temple stay in Korea was an unforgettable experience. I learned how to meditate properly, work in the fields, and take part in the monks' daily routine. The environment was peaceful and allowed me to truly disconnect from the outside world. The host was kind, patient, and always ready to share insights about Buddhist philosophy and Korean culture. It was a meaningful and calming stay that helped me reflect and find balance. Highly recommended for anyone looking for peace, simplicity, and self-awareness.

Beautiful place, delicious homemade organic food. Private rooms and shared bathrooms are clean and comfy. Daily tasks vary: kitchen help, farming, cleaning rooms, or assisting the sunims. Communication is mostly in English with some of the sunims, and with those who don't speak English, we use gestures and try our best to understand each other 🤍 There's time to meditate and talk with the monks. Try to arrive before 6 PM and make sure you have the sunim's WhatsApp — don't rely only on the platform for pickup coordination.

It was a great experience to work and focus on myself, also a great opportunity to get to know people. I guess the whole place and the work depends fully on your attitude towards it. The place, food, routine and team is amazing, the only downside I'd say is the work is gender role based, so good luck organizing guys. Thank you for everything 🫶🏼

Thank you very much to the Sunims for this wonderful experience, this place gave me the peace and tranquility to my soul. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful sunrise and stunning views every morning, as well as the sunset, the gorgeous starry sky and moon at night. All the meals were so delicious and healthy, I never thought there were so many options of vegetables dishes and so tasty. I really would have love the weather weren't that hot so I can enjoy more my time. Thank you for everything, my heart is so happy!!

My time at the Center was full of new experiences. Living with the sunims, eat healthy and delicious food, wake up very early, sleep very early and two times of the Center were all new experiences to me. Because it was summer the work felt a little bit more heavy due to the heat, but I always felt encouraged by the sunims and other volunteers. I met great people, I always felt welcomed and also the views were amazing too. I'm glad I had this experience!! Thank you for letting me stay for two weeks!!

The sunims made you feel so welcome. They were open for questions which made you learn even more. The work was really peaceful and only a few hours a day. After which they provided you the most healthy meals. Thankful for this experience 🫶
