Program Details

You have a real passion for cooking.
As said, you have 2 meals to prepare daily: lunch (12:30) and dinner (18:30).

You are responsible for the groceries, the inventory and the meal preparations. Obviously, we will give you a hand, and if needed during the process of meal preparation too.
The menus are standardised Mediterranean meals, so you don't have to be too creative (you can if you wish).

Please note that we offer 2 meals per day during workdays (Mo-Fr/lunch & dinner). On weekends it's up on you :-) You will have some shelf space and some space in the fridge obviously.

Activities & Shift

You are rather free in the organisation of your day. The only mandatory timeframes to respect are the fact that food is served:
lunch at 12:30
dinner 18:30

If you do batch-cooking, this can free more time for you as you prepare several meals at the same time.

During your stay we would like you to work on putting together a cookbook with our recipes. A manual with the various dishes, the quantities, prices, ... So that the next person taking over the position, will have to simply choose within the recipes and automatically have the quantities and ingredients needed.
Standardising the process to say it simply.

Cooking the 2 daily meals will take 60-70% of your time. The remaining can be used for creative cooking tasks: making jams, harvesting herbs, make fermented products....

Rules

We have a daily "tour de table". A moment where each one shares positive, neutral or negative things, directed or not at somebody specific.
During this moment we expect everybody to be open to compliments, to remarks, and to listening in general.
The aim is to openly share our thoughts, feelings, wills,... so no unnecessary pressure within the group builds up. Its a very insightful moment for everyone. :)
