I had an amazing time here! this was my first experience with world packers and i couldn't have asked for something better! Fuga is a great host, he always made sure we are happy, comfortable and satisfied with the experience! he made sure to communicate super well about the tasks and workload, made sure we got our free days and rest, even busy days passed with a breeze! the work is not to difficult and with the right people even fun! if you like nature, traditional culture and just taking a moment to relax somewhere peaceful, this is the best place to go!

This was my first worldpackers and now the bar is set pretty high, it'll be difficult to reach. I recommend this place 100%. Work is fair and light (cleaning, making beds) and always with cool music. Tamba's nature is beautiful but what really made this unforgettable was Fuga himself—he's chill, open-minded, and kind. He genuinely cares about volunteers feeling comfortable, and even his jokes—sometimes they land, sometimes they don't—are part of the charm. Together with Tamba, he creates an unforgettable experience, one that will stay with you long after you leave. I'm forever grateful.

This was my best volunteering experience so far. Fuga is super caring and always makes sure that the volunteers are comfortable and at ease. The workload is totally manageable (making beds, cleaning and DIY) and there is plenty of time to explore the surrounding nature and shrines. Fuga organises little outings and sometimes barbecues for the volunteers. He also has great taste in music and is pretty funny. I recommend this experience 2000% Fuga thank you so much for having me and for all the acts of kindness and the laughs, you truly make Kuromame a special place.

If you are into nature and like exploring the countryside (especially by bike!) this place is perfect for you! The work is nice if you don't mind chores, especially with music!! Working hours were never exceeded and there is plenty of free time for you to explore. Fuga always tried to give us a few days in row off so that we can visit a close by city like kyoto or osaka. I would definitely recommend this place for nature lovers!

I had a wonderful time at the guesthouse. The working hours are short and fun. Especially with Fugas music. It is perfect if you want to explore nature and prioritize free time. I can definitely recommend staying there.
