We stayed 3 weeks in this family resort. We are two volontaries, so we worked more than what was mentioned on Worldpackers. We didn't have much work, it was easy to get bored. Communication with staff was complicated because no one spoke English except Dai and Henry. It was a good experience, we were able to be fully immersed in another culture and make a lot of beautiful encounters ! (The cooker is a beautiful person <3)

The work was simple, but you have to be proactive since there wasn't always an English speaker available. Due to the language barrier, environment wasn't that social, but staff was friendly, especially La Nan. (And she makes the best spring rolls!) the guest house is cold in winter, so check the weather. The hotel is a bit far from city, but they provide scooters. Room is confy. Communication on Worldpackers chat was a bit slow, and there were some misunderstandings about days off. Agreeing on a schedule since beginning helps. It's also crucial to set clear boundaries! Cảm ơn Dai, La Nan, and Henry.

This experience was great but i have mixed feelings. Tbh 2 weeks is way more than enough. I will also advise to be at least 2 because alone its really tough. - The work is fine but be sure that your days offs are respected and also keep in mind that you are volunteering and not working for them ! I didnt like the way they talked to me when i was just saying that i was off because i think they expect me to work way more than supposed - Accommodation and food are perfect nothing more to say, thank you Dai and his family for everything I would have expected to be more welcomed :)

I volunteered for 2 weeks and it was more than enough. This experience was good, I got to meet many international travelers and made new friends. Job was simple but make sure you are outgoing enough and can easily talk to people. Accommodation, food, staff - everything is great. Thank you Dai, Lanan and Henry. Take care xx

I had a great time staying with Dai and his family. They were all very nice to me, tried to teach me some Vietnamese words, and helped me experience the life of a local on the guest house island. The hotel is great as well, a place to relax and explore the island of the guest house. The work was simple and often entertaining, as there was a lot of contact with the guests staying there.
