The Experience

Our project focuses on creating a place where we host themed stays for a week for a group of 7 to 9. Our house is a big structure that we are slowly renovating. Update 25/05/25: during the next 3 months we will be: - lots of woodwork (furniture and small DIY objects) - garden landscaping - creating a new space in the 20m3 cave we excavated in april 2025. Kuba, Madeleine, and Tiago were amazing hosts who made my volunteering experience truly enjoyable. The work was challenging, but they strictly adhered to the 5-hour workday, which kept things manageable. Alvito and the surrounding area were absolutely beautiful, offering plenty of great hiking opportunities. Overall, it was a rewarding experience in a stunning location!

Di sicuro la migliore esperienza di volontariato che ho avuto, sono stati 4 mesi molto ben vissuti in una città accogliente e molto bella, 4 mesi di molto lavoro e alla fine sono stato molto felice di vedere quanto è cambiato dal primo giorno all'ultimo. Kuba, Mad e Tiago sono stati super accoglienti e di sicuro ora sono più che amici, posso dire che sono la mia famiglia internazionale, spero che tutti i volontari che passano da the guest house si sentano così come mi sentivo. Un abbraccio ragazzi.
