The Experience

Our simple but beautiful resort, 1hr from Port Macquarie, is a peaceful and secluded retreat in the countryside in NSW. Next to the river and surrounded by green hills and an animal farm, Mount Seaview Resort offers accommodation. Help other backpackers elevate the resort to a backpacker heaven. The help will consist of mostly housekeeping and general cleaning. On your time you can enjoy the different hikes, kayaks, tennis, etc.

Really enjoyed my time at the host; the people who work/volunteer there are friendly and easy to get on with. The work is straight forward as described in the description. It was nice to be close to nature and have a lovely view of the mountains. It's a lot different from the city but you soon adapt to it.

I had a great time at the host! The work and hours were fair and simple. It was east to meet and get to know the other travellers working there, as well as people passing through. The area is beautiful with some bush walks nearby and a river to swim in. The location is a little isolating so it may be better for someone with a car who can explore the nearby area and towns, but is still relaxing and fun without one.

Had a great time at the host, met some great friends and the work was relatively easy. unfortunately we had the flood during my last week and a half at the host so it was very quiet but brought us all closer as friends. loved walking around the grounds! :)

It was a nice place out in the nature, would probably recommend to someone who wants to get away for a bit and enjoy the quiet. The nature is really nice and all the people I worked with were lovely it just can get a bit boring and isolating at times as there isn't that much to do
