Help me on a small alpaca farm in rural Brittany

I cannot recommend this place. I planned to stay two weeks but left early due to how I was treated. After finishing the tasks on the first day, I decided to rest because of a headache. At dinner, Mo spoke to me in a very rude and condescending way, accusing me of “vanishing” without communicating enough, even though I thought the work was done. When I explained how I felt, she continued with personal and unnecessary comments, and it was clear she didn't care that I was unwell. I felt extremely uncomfortable, unwelcome, and disrespected, so I decided to leave early.

I am writing this with great care.
Sadly, Seinab's lack of honesty about her specific dietary requirements and her reluctance to integrate into life here coupled with her secret departure via her bedroom window before dawn after less than 36 hours suggest that this experience was a very poor choice on her part.
Future hosts and volunteers will see that my reviews are consistently 5* and I do hope that hosts have more honest communication from Seinab before accepting to host her.

Mo and Stewart were exceptional hosts and they live in a beautiful part of France. Upon arrival I was immediately welcomed as part of the family. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable at all times including with whatever tasks were at hand. I learned lots about the alpacas, pyrography and how to spin wool. The work is very manageable and rewarding and there is plenty of time to explore the local area. Mo and Stewart are both excellent cooks and I enjoyed a wide range of delicious meals during my stay. Overall, this was a great experience and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

Mo & Stuart are incredibly kind people who did everything to make me feel welcome in their home. Between the pets and interesting conversations, there was always something going on, so it never got boring! The work is easy and rewarding and I was patiently taught all the skills I needed. I learned a lot, like processing wool(spinning, knitting, etc.) or how to build a fence. The food is amazing: Mo's dinners and of course lots of tea with biscuits..

Mo and Stewart are excellent hosts. I have thoroughly enjoyed my short stay, learning about alpacas, French culture and many other topics. A big bonus is being provided delicious food most of which French or British cuisine and enough apple juice to fill an Olympic sized swimming pool. The work is very manageable and enjoyable, had plenty of time to explore surrounding towns and bike trails. Also loved the beautiful, patient dogs and cats that put up with my endless fuss.

Mo and Stuart are the kindest hosts possible, they really make a big effort in getting to know the volunteers and propose fun activities. They really have a lot to share and teach, it was lovely to be with the alpacas and learn about construction. Exploring the suroundings by bike was a big highlight as well. Thank you for everything!

Mo and Stewart are very kind and welcoming people. I learnt a lot from both of them including how to point a stone wall and all the stages of using alpaca wool right through to spinning it. Their place in the farm is stunning! It's very calm and peaceful with lots of birds and of course the alpacas.

The wonderful quality time I've spent at Mo's and Steward is beyond words. As i said to them, i am worried they have set the bar too high for my next adventures. At their farm you will learn all sort of things, of course all the awesome information about Alpacas and how to take care of them, Steward will teach you how to build ANYTHING really, Mo will teach you how to spin the Alpaca fleece to yarn. Mo and Steward are the hardest working people I have ever met and are full of important and interesting information. For the next visitors, please treat them well because they really deserve it!

The farm is a beautiful place and Mo and Stewart are kind and thoughtful hosts. Among the cats, dogs, and 42 alpacas, you will have plenty of time for walking, reading, lake enjoying, and all the other things that make living in rural france wonderful. The labor is more than fair and I found working on projects around the farm to be rewarding and interesting work. The food is great too! Overall great experience.
