The Experience

We are looking for a volunteer! - We are looking for a volunteer to help us clean who can stay for LONGER THAN FULL 2 MONTHS. -Our hostel is 5 min walk from JR Kyoto station. 80% of guests are from foreign countries :) -We give you a free bed in a mix dorm room with curtain, bicycle and Wi-Fi ! VALID VISA NEEDED (eg: working holiday)

Overall, I had a good experience at the guest house. The staff is Japanese; a good environment to practice your Japanese and get tips for traveling. Also, everyone is really nice. There were a few downsides, though. They only have one volunteer stay at the hostel , so during my free time, it was just me, while at other volunteer jobs there were other volunteers to chat and hang out with. It can also get pretty noisy in the hostel and the room. You do get free coffee and tea, and can use the laundry machine and a bicycle for free. The location is very close to the station, which is a big plus.
