Marcelo and Christina were welcoming hosts. The work was well communicated involving pruning, propagation, no-dig methods etc. Marcelo has much knowledge and interesting ideas he will share with you. We loved to learn much about Portugal and your experiences doing agroforestry. Thank you! Hopefully will visit you again soon <3

I was at the farm for about 12 days. The work that Marcelo and Christina are doing was right up my alley, sustainable farming, mud house, greenhouse, learning how plants engage with each other , general farming, weeding etc. Marcelo and Christina were wonderful hosts, checking to make sure i had everything i needed for a comfortable stay, work timings were super flexible, they were extremely engaging and generous with their time , space and knowledge. During my stay i had many long engaging conversations about pretty much everything besides farming. Thankyou for the wonderful experience.

I had an amazing experience with Marcelo y Cristina, they were very welcoming and easygoing, the work in the garden was really nice and the food they prepared was really good. I really like to work at their farm being connected with nature and the hours of work were flexible so I could also relax and enjoy the peace of the place. To sum up, the experience in the farm was really pleasant, fun and rewarding, I had a great time and I would like to come back in the future :)

Really nice, the work was interesting and often something different, and in total around 4 hours a day with a large break in between. Marcelo and Christina are always really nice and helpful, and cooked everyday, and because I am vegetarian they made veggie dishes everyday, really really nice! They are also open if you need to change the hours or need something. Overall really nice, I just had to get used to the Cold shower 😁
