The Experience
We are a small cozy hostel in a beautiful Langkawi an island in Malaysia. The hostel is in the main area and only a couple of minutes walk from the beach . We are both traveller so we building a place that is not only a hostel but a home far away form home. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the the hostel where I met some amazing people and shared some crazy and fun times together. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and the owner “Mantra” is hilarious and very friendly to work with. Langkawi was the best part of my Asia trip thanks to everyone I met there and I am really happy I went :)

I had the best time at the hostel wolves! Everyone is super nice and welcoming, and you da lot of stuff together like going out for dinner, karaoke or a nightout. The work is also super easy, just a few hours of cleaning, reception work and socialising with the guests (9am-1pm/1pm-5pm/5pm-9pm) The accommodation is simple but has everything you need (washer/dryer, kitchen, water refill, AC…) Would definitely recommend! :)

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel Wolves! The workload is reasonable and scheduling days off is easy. Langkawi is a chill, slow-paced place, but you meet so many great people you can easily spend all your time socializing. Most of my time on-shift was spent housekeeping, which is not my strong suit but it passed the time. Operations are very informal, which might be an adjustment for those used to more structure. The primary benefit is the opportunity to get to know the place and to be a part of a community of travelers and locals. I hope to return to Langkawi in the future!

My experience in Hous Of lions was great, i learnt a new job the hostel coursw i impeove my English with the screw and travelers. Mantra its so funny and she tried to keep a good vibes in the hostel managing some activities for the guest and volunteers. Was my first experience as volunteer and i really apreciated that they gave my a chance to stay there. And thank you Thami for your kindness and for your pattient 🫶 Terima kasih
