Cata and the night staff that we worked with were incredibly kind and were fun to work with! The hotel is beautiful and has wonderful views. The house that were were staying at was very nice, and our neighbors were lovely, the one thing was that it was a 15 minute walk uphill from the lodge, and there was no Wi-Fi or service at the house which was difficult. It also was a 2 mile walk down a big hill just to get to the bus stop to get into town. This made it difficult to go do activities during the day, and impossible to do anything later as the busses stop running in the evening.

Cata was an amazing host and very friendly! That being said, this location is a bit more remote than originally believed. The house has no WiFi or service and is a two mile walk from the closest bus stop so getting around and making plans was very difficult at times. The house itself was very nice but our food deliveries weren't very consistent so there were times when we were almost totally without food. The night staff that we worked with were very kind and welcoming and helped improve my Spanish!

It's was a really beautiful and relaxing volunteering even 8hours passed faster and not hard to do it, super chill .I could spend more time with nature ) Alejandro and Cata are very friendly and helpful. Have 3 different shifts 8-16,10-18, or 16-00:00. Mostly I was volunteering from 10-18:00, near by a lot of beautiful places to visit ,volcan , trekking , have cats and dogs ) and guests are very friendly too

If you're looking to be away from the noise of the city, the hotel is the place to be. The property is literally located in/on a mountain and depending on where you're looking from it's possible to see 3 different volcanoes. The lodge itself is very well kept by their amazing full time staff. I truly enjoyed my time working with them and getting to know everyone as well. The hosts do their best to accommodate your needs and always respect the hours in which you are assigned to work. The work is not at all difficult! Treat the lodge with the same respect and care that they do and enjoy!
