It was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have chosen a better option. Julia and Georg are amazing people, smart and caring. The work environment, the small town of Orciatico, is just stunningly beautiful. Julia cooks delicious and mostly italian food. The work can be demanding, for sure, but equally rewarding. The talks with Julia and Georg were great. I recommend it to everyone who likes the tuscany landscape, being in a quiet and peaceful place and who has a kind of hands-on-mentality.

My first experience with Worldpackers in Italy was amazing, I could not have made a better choice. Julia and George were the kindest and hardest-working hosts I have ever met. I always felt welcomed and supported. Helping with their project was a pleasure and one of the best experiences of my life. I highly recommend this opportunity to anyone looking to volunteer in a welcoming and rewarding environment. Thanks to Julia and George, I discovered the true beauty of German/Italian hospitality and the warmth of their people.

This was my second time volunteering with these hosts and again, the experience was flawless - the position I volunteered for was different from the last time, but everything we agreed upon was fulfilled 100% by the host and I think it's more appropriate to emphasize how trustworthy these people are as well as their kindness! Thank you so much and after two months of volunteering with them, I would recommend this place to anyone!

My time here has been incredible - Julia has such an amazing eye for detail and a beautiful taste for design. She works extremely hard for what she wants, which motivated me towards giving it my all. Georg is so easy to get along with, he's a very thoughtful and caring gentleman, I enjoyed being around him and speaking to him about history! I can't say enough about these two, I learned very valuable things from both of them which are going to stay with me for the rest of my life. The food was delicious, I lived in comfort and the work was enjoyable - what more can we ask for! Thank you!!

Was a great experience, they made me feel very welcome into their little community and their home! I learned so much about their way of life, ate delicious home cooked meals, enjoyed the absolutely stunning views of the Tuscany landscape and had great insightful conversations with the hosts and other volunteers. They were very kind and accommodating to anything I needed also very open to my ideas and different ways that I would do things. This was my first Worldpackers job and after this experience I really look forward to doing more!
