I wasn't there for long but it was a very rich experience to be in the countryside! Everybody was really nice and even helped with my Japanese. I feel very grateful for my stay there. The only thing was that if you want to go sightseeing, you have to drive for 1 h. Overall a nice experience.

Oki-san was very nice, welcoming, very flexible and understanding. He provides delicious meals and a wonderful place to stay. Working in the farm area is hard work but fun. Working the guest house is a nice break from the farm in the middle of the day.

The food was so good, I decided to stay forever 🤩 Ok only half joking… my stay with Oki san has been nothing short of incredible. He is caring and flexible, always taking care of his volunteers and showing an interest in their backgrounds and culture. Him and the Oki olive team are so fun to interact with, even if you don't speak Japanese! Definitely bring clothes to get dirty in as farm work IS farm work, but all working conditions are exactly as stated. 10000/10 recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Me and my girlfriend had an excellent time at Oki Olive Garden. We enjoyed delightful meals he made for us and learning about Japanese culture and about his life. Our time was split between gardening/ farming and cleaning the guest house and had time to ourselves after finishing work. We weren't there in harvesting season so we were the only volunteers, but during harvesting time there could be as many as 20 other volunteers. It was a great experience, I would highly recommend.

Our experience at Oki Olive was great. Oki-San is a good host and will enjoy sharing Japanese traditions and his passion for cooking with you. The working hours are usually splitted between the house cleaning and the farm work which is a great balance. Kirin-San and Kiruma-San, the two farm employees are very friendly and will share their knowledge on olive farm management. If you come to the farm, be sure to have your Japanese driving translated as you will be able to explore the region.

We spent a month at the farm and had a great time. The place was perfect for us who were looking for outdoor work and peace away from the city. Oki San let us use the car as much as we wanted so we could explore (life on the farm is easier if you can drive). The work could be challenging sometimes as it was more hours than what we were used to (3 in the morning and 3 in the afternoon.) Work in the fields can also be a little physical but manageable if you are fit. Oki San is a great host, really passionate about food which also makes him a great cook. Thank you again !See you in France!

Oki San is a kind person, he cooks for the volunteers everyday and he taught me different things in the farm and in the house of the guests. The food is delicious and the accommodation is convenient. The property is a little bit far from the downtown, so, it's perfect if you are looking for contact with nature, peace and silence. The schedule was 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours after lunch and the activities were not difficult. I was there not in high season, but I want to come back there. Thank you for everything.

Tania is so cheerful Mexican girl, always so bright and cleaver she can do any help without so much instruction from me so positive.
Even if she cannot do right task, by only one instruction she can do very well in her way quickly.
We talked about so many things like food, culture, education, history, religion or so on, everything is fantastic for me.
In addition Mexican food she cooked was amazing!! And good Michelada!

My time with Oki-san was wonderful! I came during the off-season (any month besides October), so my work and schedule was a little different than listed. I worked 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, but the days were longer since we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner together (all cooked by Oki-san)! The farmwork was truly engaging and relaxing. I had an entire house to myself with heating and wifi! Oki-san was great to get to know over meals, and he is very interested in learning about other cultures and trying food from other countries. If you are a good cook he'll be very pleased!

Felt uncomfortable due to the host's excessive demands. I was the only volunteer and had to take care of the olive trees, clean the guesthouse, and do carpentry work. Despite the heavy workload, the food provided was not fair. The location was isolated, and I had no one to talk to except the host. During my free time, I stayed alone in the house with nothing to do. Apart from working for Oki, there was really nothing else available. I expected a more collaborative and nourishing experience, not to be treated simply as free worker entirely at the host's disposal. I left very disappointed
