The experience

We are looking for an enthusiastic addition to our volunteer team. As live-in staff you contribute to the atmosphere of our hostel.

(EU passport or working holiday visa required)

The work is cleaning and house keeping duties that is mainly in the mornings and weekends.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 18 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

European Union Passport

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We ask for 5x5 hour shift per week with 2 days free.

A typical shift would be 09:00 - 14:00 rarely we ask for help in the evenings.
Work is cleaning and housekeeping.

Or schedule is flexible and made with consultation with the volunteers so that as much as possible we offer the days you want off.

We have a guest kitchen that is available for volunteers.

Our bar and lounge is open from 08:00 - 23:00 every day.

Free accomodation (in a shared 6 person room.. together with more volunteers)
Free breakfast & lunch every day (on Friday we have a big lunch)
Free coffee/ tea/ juices/ softdrinks/ juices/ milk etc all day
Free use of bikes
Free use of all facilities in the hostel (guest kitchen, laundry etc..)
Free joining of all the themenights (Pasta Night, Dutch Delight, Game/ Movie Night etc..)

Rules

We ask for a 50 Euro deposit on arrival. This is given back at departure.
