Really cool hostel experience! The team there is awesome and the place runs smooth. The kitchen job is fun and mostly chill. You run everything and cook for the hostel staff and just a few visitors, everyone is super grateful for the food you cook. I went down there with no Spanish and came away with a little, definitely a good place to learn. Claudio is a great host and is running a good spot.

I was honestly here for less than a day. The people and the host were very welcoming and the work seemed to be ok as well. The reason I left is because I found the accomodations where I would be sleeping to be absolutely disgusting. The room was very disorganized with trash and food everywhere. The room where I would have stayed for a month had a bad smell to it as well. If the accomodations were not so horrendous then I would have completed my volunteer commitment but there was no way I could be in those conditions for a month. Maybe someone else with a different tolerance for cleanliness.
