I loved my experience at the hotel. It's a great opportunity to see Costa Rica and spend time close to nature. You like going to the beach, there are a few options at a short driving distance. The tasks are simple and if you enjoy cleaning and slow life - you'd like it. The summer is very hot here, so be ready for that:) and also be ready to meet animals:)

Overall, I had a great experience working with Anthony to re-open the hotel at the beginning of December '23! When working here and not having guests, the working hours are typically just an hour after waking up (8 AM) and then working for two - three hours on any projects that are ongoing, gardening, or going with Anthony on errands. When guests are staying at the hotel, work is almost explicitly answering questions and cleaning the hotel once the guests depart. The work is very easy, and you are able to experience Jaco and Costa Rica with a bit of planning and communication with Anthony!
