This experience was so much more than what I expected. I felt like I was a part of the big family from the very beginning. The atmosphere was very welcoming, everyone was so direct and friendly. I was looking for a place where I can cook tasty and healthy food for people who might have otherwise limited access to it. So for me the project was the perfect match. Norbi and everyone are super dedicated to what they do and nothing can stop them in carrying out there fantastic plans. Great time, amazing bunch of people ❤️❤️❤️

I experienced indescribable emotions and gained deep insights into life, aging, and death. My main tasks included feeding, assisting with household chores, and engaging in activities with the elderly. The flexible schedule allowed for ample free time, and the small, cozy environment fostered close connections. The friendly atmosphere quickly made me feel like part of the community. If you're passionate about helping the elderly and want to do meaningful volunteer work focused on connection, I highly recommend here. You'll joy in creating small but significant moments in their lives!🥰

I could appreciate the warmth of this place even before coming. I arrived with high expectations and they were greatly exceeded. The care home is run by a family, who as soon as I arrived made me feel like one of them. I am a doctor, and I was able to apply my knowledge with complete freedom. The schedule is flexible. Everything is done with a lot of love and dedication for its residents, who by the way immediately open their hearts and trust to you. The town is very small, keep this in mind; if you like big cities this is not your place! Szeged is an hour away by bus. I'll come back for sure!

I spent 2 weeks here and when I say I will be back I mean it. It's truly an experience like non other on Worldpackers; opportunities to learn and grow are endless, the longer you stay the happier you'll be here! The connections I made with the staff and the residence truly made me feel like a local. The flexibility and communication Norbert gave me was truly amazing. Love it here!

I recommend this the project to everyone who wants to show love and kindness to old and ill elderly people (who are also soooo sweet 🥹), and who wants a break from the worldly problems. Here I met a very caring team of caregivers, and got awareness about the project and how to make it easier. My tasks were general support such as help with making food, some basic cleaning, etc. everything was straightforward and everyone asked me if I am doing ok everyday. The village is very serene and full of big fields. It will be a transformative experience if you are trying to find purpose.
