The Experience

Wilfred and Christine live in on a little farm tucked in between the hills and right on a small river. They host many animals and keep a vegetable garden and fruit trees. Wilfred takes care of everything , is a great cook and storyteller. Your help is needed in general farm chores as well as for some small projects of land maintenance.

Marianna is very generous and nice, who's willing to share Italian culture. The villas and the nature are beautiful (I believe it would be much more gorgeous in spring or summer). During the high season it would be a bit stressed, and distribution and arrangement of bed sheets, rugs...could be more organized, otherwise everything is perfect and relaxed. Time is flexible and you are able to explore cities nearby. Though it takes more time on transportation, it's still available. Neighbors are kind and it's a plus if you can also speak Italian or Deutsch. Overall it is a lovely experience!

I had an amazing experience and Marianna and Diana really made me feel at home. Her neighbor Wilfred is also a lovely man to be around. I had lots of opportunities to explore the area and beautiful nature. Overall a really good experience and would definitely recommend.

My first Worldpackers experience has been amazing thanks to marianna! the workload is definitely manageable and the working hours is very flexible too. Through this experience I managed to meet some locals and made some new friends :) The villa itself is huge and the view of the mountains are just mesmerising. I would definitely recommend marianna's place for other people to gain new experience!

I am grateful for the time I spent in this incredible place. Marianna is an amazing person and very welcoming. The house is impressive and the nature around is just stunning. The work is doable, many projects are flexible. Caring for the animals is one of the best tasks! I only can recommend this experience. Grazie mille per tutto, Marianna!

I had a good time at the Villa, I interacted with other volunteers in a very kind way and Mariana is a very attentive and helpful hostess. always attentive to our needs, respecting the established schedules and our free time, providing everything we wanted in terms of food and well-being. The place is incredible, with beautiful views and the only low point is that there is no public transport in the surroundings, but nothing that a walk looking at that incredible view can't prevent us from doing without too many inconveniences. Thank you so much for the welcome and the moments together ;)
