I stayed at the lodge for three weeks and had a lovely experience. Work was from 9 to 5 with a long lunch break, and the food was always delicious. My tasks included cleaning, light gardening, and walking the dog. Each volunteer had their own room, though there's no Wi-Fi in the volunteering house. They shared so much about their culture, took us to a river, hot springs, and local restaurants to try Malaysian food. The place is full of cute farm animals too. I felt very welcome and well taken care of. Thank you for everything!

I had an enjoyable two months at the lodge, mostly working on getting a building ready as a new library. The variety of jobs I did included knocking down walls; painting doors, door frames and light fixtures; raking leaves; and walking the dog. The hosts were very welcoming -- we had many enjoyable conversations around the dinner table, and several trips around the area. The other volunteers were great, and we had good times together. The work can be long and tough, and sometimes you need to make sure you understand the assigned tasks, but overall a relaxing place out in nature.

During my first Worldpacker volunteer experience, I was quite anxious about committing to a 3-week stay, but my worries went away quickly. It was a good experience full of beautiful events. Me and co-volunteer Ms kim is very generous, and all the employees are kind. Ms Tan, Uncle Tan, and all the kitchen staff and housekeeper. I wish you the best for all your projects.

We spend 3 weeks as a couple at Dural the lodge and we realy felt welcomed! Madame Kim is a very generous person and all the other employees are kind, funny and warm hearted. They love to share their culture and make sure that you really get enough to eat :) The work can be quite physical and we would recommend to be sure to really understand the task and goals. Thanks to our co-Worldpackers the time flew by - it was a great experience!

It was nice) Hosts organised some interesting activities like we went to the restaurant, waterfall together. There were 4 more volunteers during my stay, so it was nice to learn more about different countries. Also we got some classes about sustainable gardening) But should be considered: We worked from 9 to 12 and from 12 to 17. That was kinda a lot for me as it is just volunteering and you should be ready that this place is quite isolated so there is no much to do around, for me it was fine, as I wanted to take a little break from travelling. Overall, it was good, calm and peaceful)

As my first Worldpackers volunteering experience, I was quite anxious in committing to a 3-wk stay. But my worries went away quickly after meeting the people at the lodge & my co-volunteer. The owner, Ms. Kim is very inspiring. Her life philosophies & vision for the future of this place is admirable. Ms. Tan, the coordinator, is caring & reliable. Holili, Kaka, Moon, Uncle Tan and the rest of the crew are very friendly. While I didn't get to do actual building activities, I did get to da wide variety of tasks including catering to 200 guests & learning about regenerative farming.

It was quite a good experience volunteering in the lodge Talim. Miss Kim is full of wisdom, and I loved the mission she has for this project. Miss Tan was a very nice and welcoming host, as well as other staff they were very sweet and kind. My tasks were mostly helping in the kitchen with Kaka during the weekends when the guests were coming in( guests are in groups). Other tasks were walking Sakura (dog), feeding the rabbit, housekeeping and cutting fabrics. I recommend this volunteer experience to be in pairs or groups, as it gets lonely at times. Overall, this experience teaches me a lot.

The time I spent here at Dural Tailim will certainly a memory that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I'm very grateful to Ms. Kim and Ms. Tan for everything they're taught me throughout my stay. The work was simple but enjoyable. Mostly cleaning and housekeeping around the property. The activities they hosted were very educational and fun! I particular enjoyed the ink painting and calligraphy classes. Dural the lodge is quite close to Kuala Lumpur by car, so it's a great place to stay if you'd like to expience the quite life during the week and explore the city on your days off.

The lodge is a great place to connect with nature but also explore the city as it is not far away, it has been a great experience as I knew a lot about The culture and traditions. Mrs. Kim and Miss Tan are wonderful hosts always teaching us something new, showing us the culture, having deep talks about life and always attentive to our well-being. The tasks are very simple and all the people who work here are very friendly, the food always very delicious. Thank you all so much for making this experience one of the best! I hope we can see you in the future. My best wis
