I really loved my stay at Hangang. The work was easy, and the other volunteers were super nice. You get two days off each week, which is great for either catching up on sleep or making bigger plans. The usual task is cleaning the rooms, which starts around 10:30 and finishes with lunch cooked by one of the volunteers. The guesthouse itself is a cozy place. That being said, it can get a bit crowded, and your experience will depend a lot on the people around you. So come with an open mind and be respectful. I stayed for a month, and it was wayy too short, so try making it at least two :D.

I had an amazing experience at the Guesthouse. The tasks are very easy to do; you just need to pay attention to the details they give you in order to da good job. They respect your days off, and the food is also really good. It was my first volunteer experience, and I 100% recommend it. From the very first day, I made friends who made me smile all the way through. I carry them in my heart, especially Juliana a respectful, cheerful, talented, and very caring person. I will never forget the moments of laughter and fun we shared in the common room. Thank you and see you soon. ^^

Juliana is the most amazing, funny, talented, and caring person. She runs the guesthouse with so much love, and that truly reflects in the way you're treated here. Working hours are always respected, and the tasks are simple, but you need to pay attention to the details because everything should be done with care, consistency, and a sense of responsibility. I'll be forever grateful to Han River Guesthouse for making my experience in Korea so meaningful and unforgettable. Make sure to take care of the house and Juliana as much as she takes care of you. You'll feel like part of a family here.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE The GuestHouse was one of my favorite places in Korea, the tasks were simple and times were respected. It also helped me to pay attention to detail and organize myself in a more precise way. Juliana offers an awesome place (including great korean food and four lovely pets) to be in where everything feels really cozy, warm and fitting for experiencing South Korean culture at its best. The other volunteers were also really nice and brought a lot of knowledge about their respective countries. I recommend this volunteering for sure if you want to enjoy Korea.

I had an amazing experience volunteering at Hangriver Guest House. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed by the staff and fellow volunteers. Though I've spent time in Korea before, this was the first place that truly felt like home. Juliana was kind and supportive, always making sure we were comfortable. I shared unforgettable moments and learned a lot from everyone. The house is cozy, colorful, and well-maintained, with a convenient location. I would be so happy to be part of this beautiful team again, and would highly recommend volunteering here. Thanks for everything~🩵✨️🍀
