My stay at the eco village was great. I learned a great deal about the Krishna community even though I am not a member of the religion and felt welcome. Everyone was super nice and welcoming and I made amazing friends and had a good time. It felt good to be a part of the community and sing together by the bonfire. I'll forever be grateful for the experience.

The eco village is a great place to volunteer, especially if you are looking for nature and a quiet place. The work is mostly peaceful, but it can be more demanding when there are fewer volunteers and you should be prepared to work in the sun and heat, as there are many outdoor activities. You should also be aware that it is an isolated place and the nearest village is an hour's walk away. People always encourage you to participate in the religious events they follow at the temple, but it is really just an invitation. All in all, I had a great time there and I recommend it.

Overall it was a great experience :). Religion is vey present but the devotees inside the castle created a very pleasant atmosphere and always make you feel safe and listened. The tasks are quite easy, you work 5 hours in total and in the afternoon there are always many interesting activities that allow you get in contact with their culture. You also have the opportunity to meet people from all over the world, we met fantastic volunteers and a wonderful group was created.

I really loved being part of Hare Krishna community. I got to know lots about this religion: meditation, connection to a soul, new perspective of living. I could ask many questions and they were always responded with respect. I have never met so many lovely and hospitable people in one place! Even though we were in the middle of nowhere every night we were doing something interesting (in our free time) - bonfires, trips to the lake, abandoned properties etc! Food was very different from what i eat on daily basis. Some was tasty some disgusting. But you learn to appreciate everything you have:)

A pleasant setting with a connection with nature, spirituality, pleasant human contact and a variety of missions and activities on site, including gardening and mantra singing. I highly recommend. haribol!

I'll always think of my time in the eco village fondly. I met so many volunteers from all over the world and the devotees were all so open and welcoming. I'm not a vegetarian myself, but the food there was always tasty and nutritious. All the temple programmes were voluntary and even though I'm not religious in any way, the Hare Krishna movement provided great insight. The only thing I would point out is the lack of organisation at times concerning the tasks.

This has been such a powerful experience! It is an invitation to be immerse in a spiritual movement, where they are very welcoming, and open to share their beliefs and experiences. The food is great, people are so nice and kind. The working hours are respected, it's just important to keep in mind that although it is 5 hours, they are spread through the day, so it is a bit challenging to balance with remote work, as it is my case. It is also away from everything, and difficult to move around. I didn't mind at all, as we have all we need here :) I am very thankful for this experience
