It's my first time volunteering and I enjoyed my staying here, the community, the people were so nice, the tasks aren't difficult If you already have done farming or cleaning, but if you don't they can teach you with patience, I found really interesting the activities after the work time, like yoga classes, the kirtan, etc. I recommend this place for people that are completely open to learn and wants to connect with their spirituality, It's amazing mainly because you're in a place where there are a lot of nature, peace and the time it feels like goes slowly, I really loved that. 🧘‍♂️❤️

This volunteering experience was my first ever and I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to try something safe for their first time as well. The tasks and working hours were agreed upon and not too hard. I learnt a lot about Hare Krishna and spirituality and I felt truly respected and accepted, as there was no criticism from anyone. I met some of the most amazing people from all around the world, people I will miss very much and remember them dearly for many years ahead. I urge you to try this volunteering experience!

Had a great time at the eco village. A very peaceful and beautiful place with a huge estate which includes the castle, guesthouse the farming areas and forest. Great place to meet people from all over the world. Do be aware that it's a sacred place to those that live there and you should respect that. Very inspiring to learn about a way of life very different to my own. I didn't learn as much as I would've liked about farming, but I think that it really depends on which time of year you stay.

My experience here was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and I got to learn a lot of new things, such as making garlands!!The food they serve each day is very good and the work over all isn't hard at all. There is a lot of different activities that you could join in apart from work such as yoga, meditating and the services they have in the temple. I wish I could've stayed longer as the community there is wonderful and the people are so nice :)

Such a beautiful and valuable experience. I felt so welcome and learned so much about farming, gardening, community living, Yoga, meditation and spirituality. The day-to-day routine is relaxing even when the work is physically straining, because you're in a peaceful environment being well nourished in every sense. Working for a loving community and getting their delicious homemade food, comfortable accomodation and access to their religious practices was an immense privilege. I can't wait to be back someday and meet again the friends I made there. Le Nouvelle the eco village is truly a magical place.

The eco village gave me unforgettable memories. Everyone was kind and warm. I picked cherries from a tree daily and played with cute cats. The food was distinctly Indian, not just vegetarian, and the cakes were delicious. Though I don't follow the temple's religion, I felt truly happy chanting mantras, singing, dancing, and meditating with others. Yoga classes on Mondays and Fridays helped me relax. The nature near the guesthouse and palace amazed me every day. Work was easy, and pruning old roses felt healing. I'm grateful to the eco village community, especially Harini. Hare Krishna!

This was my first time traveling with Worldpackers and it was great. It was beautiful surroundings, but you have to be aware that there is not much to do nearby if you don't have a car. The work hours was good, and lovely people everywhere. I got to learn a lot about their beliefs and practice it as well so that was fun.

Me and my friend had a lovely time, and had a very good experience for our first time as volunteers! The workload was okay and we enjoyed working in the gardens. We learned lots about Hare Krishna because people were welcoming and eager to tell us about the community. The castle and nature around was very beautiful, however it is not much nearby that is reachable if you don't have a car. Would really recommend if you are looking for a peaceful place where you can learn lots about culture and religion!
