The month I spent here at the hostel has been nothing short of perfection. Everything about this place made me feel so at home, and Nuno & Rodrigo were amazing hosts who always made sure the volunteers were being treated well. The work is well balanced and is quite easy to pick up once you get the hang of it, but even so there is always someone who can help if you're unsure. Definitely didn't expect to have such a hard time saying goodbye, but I am so so grateful to have been able to be a part of this incredible experience and to have met the people who made it so special 🫶

I absolutely loved my stay at the hostel! I remember feeling so at home after only a few days. The entire team is so welcomeing and kind and you really feel like a part of team! The hours are good and the work is fair. Everything is very structured and nice and the schedule is easy to plan around. Overall I had a fantastic stay and would love to come back if I ever get the chance!

From my very first day at the hostel, I felt so welcomed, and the month flew by! It's a fun, friendly environment, and with lessons and rentals included, it's the perfect place to learn to surf. The volunteer hours are always respected, shifts are flexible, and the tasks are more than manageable. In fact, many of the shifts felt more like an opportunity to socialise than actual work! I spent a month volunteering at this hostel and it was an amazing experience. The team and the other volunteers were incredibly warm and open – I felt welcome from the very first day. The tasks were well explained, easy to manage, and never stressful, as there was always support from the team. The atmosphere was relaxed and felt like a family. If you're looking for a special place to work or stay, this is definitely the right spot!
