The Experience

We live in a village near Evian les Bains. We are renovating a house. We will be happy to welcome volunteers to live an experience discovering our life, French cuisine, Lake Geneva and our mountains. You will be accommodated independently, lunch will be shared after spending the morning together. There is a large bedroom with two beds so, occasionally, you can be two. In this case you will share the bathroom, dry toilets and bedroom.

This experience was great in all ways it could be. The hosts are very welcoming and there's no need to worry about anything. Working hours were really clear and the work itself was very interesting and didn't require any previous experience as the home will teach you everything you need to know. Céciles made food was always delicious and gives great insight into french cuisine. There is always something to do as hiking, going to markets, exploring the villages and cities around and the hosts will gladly drop you off or pick you up wherever you need. Everything was just amazing!

The home and the home are lovely people and they create a well rounded structure to your time with them which is perfect for planning your own time to explore the beautiful surroundings! Upon hiking multiple different mountains and catching different trains, I was always provided a lift and they lent me their Bicycle too. The work with the home is nothing but rewarding as its difficulty equals its provided teachings. the home's cooked food and warm atmosphere at each Lunchtime makes for something to look forward to while working with the home. The accommodation is well equipped and comfortable.

I don't know where to start. the home and Phillipe are the most kindest people I've met. Calm, lovely, friendly and respectful. It felt like I was at home. Thanks for everything! I definitely would recommend this stay! the home made you feel like you're at home. She cooked everyday fresh and delicious food. Her Jam is the best I ever had. Phillipe helped me with everything, he is very patient. We builded a roof so easy and quickly that's to Phillipes experience! The work times were fully respected. And in the afternoon Phillipe always had a recommendation for what to do. Thans you two!

The home and Phillip are the best! The town is in the most beautiful location with the lake for swimming and the mountains for hiking. They are very kind and generous people. the home makes the most incredible food, and it is a very welcoming environment. Tons to do and see in the area, and they make sure you have a great experience!

The home and Philip are wonderful hosts! the little house where I stayed was lovely and private. In the mornings I would have breakfast with them and then we would start working until lunchtime. The work/hours were reasonable and included a range of things - from gardening to concreting, I definitely learnt some valuable new skills! the home always cooked delicious and healthy food, it felt like I was at home! In the afternoons I had lots of free time and the home and Philip always had lots of suggestions for exploring the beautiful area. I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend! :)
