Hung is a great host who was on the ball with schedules of the classes as well as making sure the team of volunteers was safe and cared for (even if there was a zombie apocalypse) lunch was eaten together on the office and breakfast and dinner is cooked by yourself within the weekly budget hung provides which I found to be the perfect amount however if you can't make lunch then there is the option to have leftovers later on. I have enjoyed my time here thought and made friends for life, I'll make sure to come back next time I visit Vietnam!!!

My first solo travel and volunteer, I had an incredible time and made many friends :) The teaching workload for me was very light, only 3-4 hours in the evening. The class sizes were anywhere from 1-5 students. I had a lot of flexibility with making my own lessons and teaching the content. The only issue was that the girls bathroom smelt horrible. Peter is very fast at responding and takes the volunteers out for dinner and hikes. The office is really nice, and I did my summer courses online during my free time, and overall, I really enjoyed the experience.

Working at the school was a great experience. Before I got there I read a review that Hung was like a Michael Scott kind of boss and I couldn't unsee it while I was there. The work felt really important and impactful and I'm grateful I was able to be a small part of the students English learning journey :)
