Roi, Stefan, Vittorina and the family are lovely people. They are reasonable and allowed me to do my own work at consistent times which is great! The work is varied and involves many different things, so be prepared to be adaptable to the needs of the day. I would recommend this experience to anyone that wants to learn more about permaculture as the host is very very passionate about it and has lots of knowledge on the subject. You just ask. The castle is also quite a magical place - especially when the weather is warm. Thank you Roi and Stefan, I hope to see you both soon.

I highly recommend this place if you think on volunteer in Italy. Great people and they were very flexible with tasks and time! Also, they invited us for dinner a few times something that was awesome - pickin up at the train station but also they brought me to the station once the volunteering ended. They also brought us to a few places around the place for tourism!

Stefan and his family are really special people. They took me in as a family member. Im grateful to have had this opportunity. Hoping to return one day. Unfortunately, I had an unexpected event and was unable to stay for the agreed period. Everyone was understanding and did everything they could to help me. The place is incredible and has a lot of potential. It's a worthwhile experience. The accommodation and work are very pleasant, everything is as described.

Stefan and his family welcomed us very well. The space is very large, we stayed in a private apartment for volunteers, well organized, with a kitchen and very clean rooms. It was a pleasure to learn more about the history of the guest house and how his father and his family built the place. We will definitely be back, our favorite place in Tuscany.

Stefan and Roi are nice people to be around, they're a beautiful family! The work journey is flexible and light many times, and they seek to include the volunteers in the week planning. If you need a tight schedule, it may not be for you though, you need to be adaptive because their needs are not always the same, but rest assured they are fair people and open to listen to our suggestions and opinions. Hope to see them again someday and wish all the best of luck in their endeavors! 😊
