The Experience

Our farm is located in the countryside of Ruvo di Puglia (Bari - Italy), inside the Alta Murgia National Park. We produce cereals, legumes, almonds, olives, grapes, fruits and vegetables. A large part of the territory is covered by natural pastures and woods. We have a donkey, 4 dogs, cats and chickens. We always need a hand with daily activities

What an unforgettable and truly unique experience! I'm so incredibly thankful for everything I learned, for all the amazing moments we shared, and for the absolutely delicious food. What a great experience! You get to experience and learn about the local culture. The family is super welcoming, kind, attentive and very helpful. I loved my experience. If you want to get out of your comfort zone, this is a good place to start.

I spend a great time with Maurício, Rosamaria, José, Máximo and the whole beautiful and kind family! I had already 3 experiences in Italy but this one was a true immersion in the land and life in this amazing country! In addition was the experience that also increase my Italian skills and the food is amazing! The olive harvest and production of olive oil is something really beautiful to see and I strongly recommend come in this season! It's an unique experience! The time and the tasks that I did there turn in great memories that I will keep forever in my heart! I hope to see you guys again!

The farm was such an amazing place to volunteer! Rosa and Mauricio are so welcoming and we felt extremely comfortable during our stay on the farm. During our time we helped harvesting grapes and producing wine, planting vegetables, collecting firewood and general cleaning. We got to spend time in the local area and we also explored surrounding towns during our days off. They were also very respectful of only asking us to work the agreed hours. Would love to go back and visit as it is such a beautiful part of the world!
