The Experience

General help in maintaining our house and assisting with any ongoing new project, very often working outside. Help doing the changeovers in our 1 bedroom Airbnb self-catering cabin, (Paid work). The volunteers live in a cabin in our garden, which is fully fitted, cooker, fridge, toilet and shower.We provide food allowance money and you cook for yourselves, sometimes you will eat with the family.

Had a truly wonderful time at Tenderden the farm. It was my first time volunteering with worldpackers and Simon and Eileen were so welcoming, generous and kind, with great senses of humour! I felt very taken care of. They were very adaptable to my needs relating to injury, also doing things like very kindly altering work schedules so I could do some sightseeing in more ideal weather! I thoroughly enjoyed helping out in their lovely garden, and spending time with them in general.

Staying with Simon and Eileen was a wonderful decision. We came with the mission of helping out at the charity dinner that was going to be held at Christmas. Simon, who was the organizer, was very clear in each task he gave us, always willing to answer questions in a very friendly way ❤️ They were always concerned that we had a good experience and for that we will always be grateful. I hope we can see each other again 🥰

Simon and Eileen are really kind. Eileen has a great sense of humor and Simon is always open to answer any questions if the task is not clear. The tasks are very varied and the weekly time is respected. We really enjoyed our time there. The place is very cozy and Ullapool is a must-visit place if you want to experience Scottish culture. I hope to see you again Simon and Eileen!

I had an amazing time staying with Simon and Eileen! They were very welcoming and made me feel at home in Ullapool. The hours and tasks clear and easy to understand. I also got to try different things, like painting, gardening, apple picking, and housekeeping. In addition, Ullapool is such a scenic place and also had lots of events and live music to see :)

Fernanda left a good 'feeling' where ever she went. She worked hard, effectively and picked skills up really quickly.
Socially , a very nice person to be with. Here in the village several people have sent their regards and asked if she would be coming back.
