The Experience
Welcome to our urban Centre where young people, through free activities such as language classes, entrepreneurship workshops, dance, act, performances, computers, a library and board games, can share time and exchange skills; where we freely share our experiences and knowledge so that everyone can grow thanks to mutual help. We serve as a launching pad for new talents, give access to culture, and help them to occupy their free time efficiently.

The organization is a truly special place to volunteer at: the team is extremely welcoming and the atmosphere is super friendly! There are plenty of interesting activities to help with, depending on your skills and inclination, and all of them are great opportunities to get in touch with locals and experience the Tanzanian culture. The place is safe and fun at the same time, and it hosts amazing dynamics of reciprocity and exchange! Sometimes it can be a little chaotic, but there is nothing like seeing it full of people who enjoy spending time there! No one day is like another one at the organization!

Volunteering at the organization was my one of my favorite experiences volunteering in Africa. Immediately upon arriving in Arusha, I felt welcomed into a compassionate, curious family. Christina values inclusivity and community and it was evident how much she cared about making the experience valuable for both myself and attendees of the center. She is so open to new ideas, which is why I was able to contribute my Voice and Movement Therapy skills, and collaborate with my creative potential. The dance classes and night life here are unforgettable and so are the beautiful souls. I'll be back. <3
