The Experience

** Please note that this place is NOT for you if you seek easy work and free accommodation. ** ARE YOU THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS EXPERIENCE? - 8 weeks minimum: Possible for you? - Both dog&cat lover? - Don't mind hard work and lots of cleaning almost everyday for 4-5 hours? Then we're happy to hear from you :) This sanctuary provides a safe home for around 50 dogs & 35 cats.

I stayed with the shelter and Françoise for 6 weeks, working mostly with the 30+ cats are the shelter. It was evident from day one that Françoise's dedication is unparalleled, and she cares immensely about the well-being of her babies. The team was also very committed to providing the shelter the best service they could. I saw many volunteers going out of their way to cater to specific animal needs or deal with some situations. That was amazing! It was overall a really fun experience allowing for a lot of free time outside the 4-5 how of daily work. I'd come again.
