Program Details

Our association welcomes marginalized and homeless individuals, offering long-term community housing. We live and work together as a community based on the values of sharing, work, and unconditional acceptance. Without any subsidies, we sustain ourselves through the fruits of our labor.

Our main activity is collecting, sorting, repairing, recycling, upcycling, and selling second-hand items. About 90% of this work happens at our main site in Caneças, with a small shop occasionally open in Lisbon.

Founded in 1986, our community also maintains a small agricultural project to support a part of our food needs.

Activities & Shift

We work from Tuesday to Saturday. Volunteers join a team of companions and/or volunteers and help in all the daily tasks.

Rules

The first main rule is no alcohol and no drugs in the community. The second main rule is be happy and embrace the discovery of an alternative way of living :)
