Volunteering at a house it's way different than volunteering elsewhere. The kids are lovely and well educated. You get to become part of the family. I feel like I was another member. I was lucky to share this experience with another volunteer. We both took turns for the shifts in the morning and afternoon, so we were able to do our required tasks and also get to know the beautiful city of Cuenca. We also shared important family moments such as the birthday one of the kids and Christmas. The family is super sweet and warm. They will always have a space in my heart.

The home are really welcoming, and the experience couldn't be better! Make you feel confortable in every moment, and even in my experience, they has some countertemps, made their best to make me feel as included as possible! Besides, I fell in love with the kids and with teaching them English (also other languages, to which some of them are very enthusiastic to learn!). The rest of the community also made me feel very included, taking me to know some of the citie's places and to have meals with them. I just want to thank the home and the whole community for a experience I won't forget soon

Couldn't ask for a better experience, the home are very open minded to the culture, food knowledge and activities to introduce you that will feeling like you live in Ecuador. La experiencia fue muy buena, las tareas son fáciles y pueden variar según las necesidades. Los niños son muy cariñosos y divertidos así como el resto de la familia, me sentí involucrada en las actividades de la familia y fue genial! Recomiendo sin dudas este voluntariado!
