The school is better than I could have expected!😅💓 Speaking some Spanish is necessary in my opinion because the teachers do not speak English and it makes teaching the kids more proficient and understandable for them. The area and the house is very very nice. There is a private garden in the back where you can relax and the house itself is pretty sizeable. The coordinator is always quick to communicate and adapt to any needs (such as if you get sick, which I did). Not to mention, the food that they provide is delicious and authentic! I could not have chosen a better spot. We love the school!😁💓

Sofia makes always sure you have a nice and comfortable stay, and the teachers at the school make the everyday life and job so much easier and fun! The area is safe and nice to walk around. The food at the school is soooo good!!! I was there for only two weeks but I'd definetly recommend to stay even longer because they make you feel at home every time and the job allows you to explore the beautiful city of Bogota❤️❤️❤️

Amazing month! I felt instantly welcomed by the coordinators, the teachers and the kids. The communication with the coordinators was great, they were willing to help with anything and we're really understanding, but knowledge in Spanish is a must! They provide you with breakfast and lunch which is a plus, and the accommodation is really close to the school. The kids (and the teachers) were super sweet and wiling to participate in all the classes. Nothing negative about this experience 🌻

Great volunteering experience! Kind and communicative volunteer coordinators, also extremely helpful with any unexpected changes during the experience. The kids were active and eager to learn English, which was wonderful for learning process! Note: Knowledge of Spanish contributes to easier communication with the team. Thanks and good luck!

I loved teaching the kids! There were some issues with the accommodation (no water etc) but it got switched for a bigger place half way through my stay which solved most issues. At times the organization and communication was difficult. I would recommend having an intermediate or at least beginner level of Spanish prior to arriving as the majority of the teachers at the preschool do not speak English, and Spanish is also very very helpful when teaching English to the children who are generally beginners. Bogotá is chilly at night so make sure to have warm pyjamas and panta instead of shorts
