*sigh* I wish I had good things to say about volunteering at the hostel considering the owner and manager are kind and well-meaning. However, I don't think LVH is prepared to host long-term volunteers. The volunteer accommodations (shared tent and shared bathroom) were incredibly uncomfortable, volunteer training had no flow, and the bulk of work involved cleaning the filthy, dusty, heavily used kitchen. I imagine it's much nicer to stay here as a guest for a few days rather than a volunteer for a month. Nonetheless, La the hostel is a beautiful place, so seek out other options!

This was probably my best WordPackers experience so far! The hostel is amazing the owner and the manager are really welcoming and you can really tell that they love what they do. The work it's easy and fun, only 4 hours shift. You'll meet the best people, while staying in a beautiful place, totally recommend! :)
