10/10 recommend. The mountains surrounding the farm are breathtaking, a very peaceful place. The hosts are extremely welcoming and accommodating. I was happily surprised to have my own room AND hot water in the shower! Lupe cooks 3 delicious meals every day for everyone- I promise you will not go hungry. The work can be hard, especially with the extreme slope of working on the side of the mountain- but of course that's part of experiencing real farm life in Colombia. Get a Claro SIM card before going (TIGO doesn't get service out there)

Maria Clara, her mom and her dad are some of the warmest, most caring and genuine people I have met 🧡. They might also be the hardest working people I have encountered. Their life on their finca is beautiful and filled with joy cultivated by nature, food and genuine love for one another and others. I could not be more grateful that they gave me this opportunity to stay with them and learn about sustainable coffee practices, nurturing/caring for the land and the importance of caring for one another. The world needs a million more people just like them. I am eternally grateful to your family 🧡

The place is pure magic! We felt a part of the family, with morning coffees, delicious food (cada comida fuera una maravillosa!), laughing and working together. We learned a lot - about coffee, about Colombia, about local nature, building with bamboo and much more. The landscape is breathtaking- every morning we waked up to a new scenery, new birds, new sounds - it is never boring. The work itself was diverse but always meditative - in deep relation with the place, with focus and very pleasurable (and our efforts were always appreciated). Muchas gracias por todo!

The Botero family made me feel at home from the moment I arrived - as did the two cats Corona and Moncheez. María Clara was really helpful coordinating the details of my stay and arranging transportation. The work mostly consisted of harvesting coffee which I found very calming and rewarding. We would finish around lunchtime then have the day free. Doña Lupe cooked delicious meals and radiated the most positive energy. I 100% recommend this experience for those looking to connect with nature, themselves, locals, and to improve their Spanish. The family helped facilitate all this amazingly!

This was an incredible experience! From the second we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt that way the whole time we were there. We learned so much about working on a farm and learned as well about our capabilities; the work is demanding but rewarding at the end of the day, and the food and environment make this experience worthwhile.
