I really enjoyed my time volunteering at the hostel. The team at the hostel truly felt like a family and i met a lot of amazing people! The atmosphere was always positive and welcoming. The work itself was super easy and the shifts were really flexible so you could have a lot of time to explore and take trips to nearby cities. The team leader, Gerson, was always super understanding and supportive and made everyone feel apart of the family at the hostel! I would strongly recommend this hostel!

A very chill vibe! The work was easy and I was often given a few days off in a row so I could travel away for a bit. Everyone was friendly and the hostel has a big kitchen and a really nice social space to hang out in. My only issue was despite it being clean, there were a lot of broken things eg. door handles, bathroom locks, keys which don't work. Sometimes this made it tricky to help guests because something would be broken or their keys wouldn't work. Also initial training lacked some details which I picked up on the job. In summary it was very fun but a bit rundown and disorganised.

The experience was great, Roberta has built an amazing team, we were spending a lot of time together, we had a lot of laughs and we could always count on each other. The tasks are easy and leave you a lot of free time to enjoy the city. Space to store the food and on the room is good enough, there is also a locker available. The only negative aspect is about the building. There are some structural problems: terrace is not available, the roof is open so, it is raining inside, some showers and toilet not working properly, sinks are quite small. The place has great potential,hope get fixed!
