La the hostel is a home away home. I really enjoyed my stay in this Hostel it feels not like a small family. Gise and Julia the owners are so lovely and fun. It was really chill and at the same time you meet travels all over the world to connect and share stories. Te quiro La Catsona 🫶🏽

La the hostel will always have a special place in my heart! Julia and her family were such amazing hosts and soo patient with me given my limited Spanish knowledge. I think about that house and how peaceful it was all the time. The workload was minimal and the cats were a definite perk. Thank you for everything 💗

"Feeling at home" is the right phrase! Julia and Gisela are fantastic people, always with a smile and always ready to help us volunteers or guests of the structure! Simple and flexible schedules and a thousand possibilities to discover a magnificent Puerto Escondido! The structure is very large and the word chill hostel fits perfectly! I 100% recommend this experience ✨

If you love yourself and you know how to put boundaries, don't go there , but if you love yourself and you're afraid of money the place will make you grow , not financially but emotionally, spiritually. I'm not the only one who felt bad or negatively about this place, some guests told me how they were feeling and I like to open up and share emotions with other. is really calm but people put the energy of the place , and there was a mix of emotions and energies that made me grow so much. Thanks for the experience . But I will never go back, I'm starting a new chapter now in my life.

The hostel was a warm, loving & welcoming home for me for almost two months. Julia, her mother & the other volunteers were like family to me, we not only lived and worked together, but also went on lots of trips, cooked together etc. the hostel is not a Party Hostel, it's pretty calm & the perfect place for people that work remotely. Most of the guests like to stay there for longer, so that real friendships can develop. Julia is a very fair and sincere person, who you can always talk to. She distributed the tasks fairly between the shifts, so that it was never too much for one person.
