I absolutely recommend working here! I loved the people and appreciated that it was not a party hostel. The full kitchen was a very big plus as I got to cook meals almost every night. Speaking decent Spanish will definitely help you out in communicating with guests and coworkers. The neighborhood is very safe and walking to stores and the bus station can be done in under 10 minutes. I spent my free time taking salsa classes, walking the streets, going to bakeries, and cooking. Overall, I am so happy that I got to work here & will definitely be returning if I ever find myself in the hostel again.

I had an amazing experience at the hostel. Patricia the administrator trained the volunteers really well and there was a clear understanding of the tasks and responsibilities from day one. The shifts are flexible and the work load fits the volunteer experience. The area is really safe and vibrant with a different range of opportunities for you to do. I loved being able to interact with the guests as well as the rest of the volunteer staff and Mafe the owner was always there in case we needed anything in the hostel as well as giving me tips for my future projects setting up a hostel. 10/10

My experience at the hostel was really good. I felt embraced since the first moment. Mafe and Felipe are the sweetest and they are always willing to help you as quick as possible. The amenities of the hostal are great and it's well located. I met really nice people and could practice Spanish a lot. Besides that the hostel is a beautiful city :)
