The Experience

I'm a separated man and my children stay one week with me and one with mother. Help isn't only babysitting but different way to stay with children and in a family with single father. I prefer people like stimolating my children with something manual, artist as painting, reading, sport and other interests in common with them. In the week children are with me helps is more tiring, in the week children are with mother there are less things to do.

My time in Palermo was incredible! I couldn't have asked for a better place to do my first Worldpackers! the home has a lot of experience hosting people so you will feel like home since the moment you arrive. He introduced me his family and friends, he cook for me and we shared thoughts and laughs. Work was simple, just helping him at home with his family. The kids (Asia and Bruno) are very nice and polite. Bruno is a teenager, so he is very independent and Asia is a lovely girl. As he has traveled around the world, you'll find always a topic to talk about. I recommend this experience 100%.

✌️ It was a fun experience to be with the home and his cool friends! For other volunteers - the home prefers flexibility and most requests communicates in that day, but not in advance. He easy removed the camera in the kitchen when was asked to. Children are sweet, but i felt discomfort as of language barrier. Can openly talk to him about discomfort and he will do everything possible to make you feel good as a guest at his home. Felt tired because there was no opportunity in the house to rest during the weekends. Grateful for the invite and wish you only the best ✌️🕶️

My experience was amazing! the home is an incredible person, and I was so lucky to have been part of the family for these two months! The kids are lovely, and I will definitely miss them so much! Ásia is such a sweetheart; she made me feel what it's like to have a sister, haha. With her, I also learned a little Italian! It was all so incredible! About the home, he will take you to visit lots of amazing places, he's super funny and very friendly! I definitely left here with a new family! I already miss them!
