It was an awesome experience and we could properly emerge in the interesting business of cultivating plantains. The finca is quite remote but has a good internet connections and ramon, the host is super caring and made sure we felt welcome. It's super conveniently on the way between Merida, the farm Cristobal and the rest of the country! Be aware of the humidity tho, but luckily there's AC in the house which makes sleeping and chilling there very pleasant! Thanks for everything and visit us in Austria!

Our volunteer experience here at the Finca was really nice we got to see and learn so much about the Plantain cultivation and harvest process and Ramon is such a cool host and it was great to practice our Spanish with him. We also got to meet his sister and her family which was a really cute experience + his dog Tayson is the best ;)

Ramón es un estupendo anfitrión. Desde el primer día fue súper atento con nosotras, nos mostró la cultura local del chivo y pudimos visitar las plataneras y conocer sus procesos. El pueblo es tranquilo y hay mucha seguridad y su gente muy amable, sin duda una buena la granja para quien quiera relajarse y disfrutar del campo, y los alrededores son hermosos!
