The experience
The receptionist position involves being the welcoming face and first point of contact for visitors and callers. Duties include greeting guests, answering inquiries, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and supporting administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all who interact with the organization.

Dress Code:
Volunteers are required to follow a smart casual dress code. This includes plain T-shirts or other simple, professional clothing. Clothing should be neat, clean, and appropriate for a 4-star hotel setting. Previous issues with inappropriate attire have had a negative impact on our guests' experience, so compliance with this dress code is essential.
Cleanliness and Facility Use:
Volunteers are expected to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in their assigned rooms and in the shared facilities such as dining areas and lounges. As a 4-star hotel, we uphold strict cleanliness standards, and it is crucial that volunteers respect these standards. We have encountered challenges with individuals coming from backpacking or budget accommodation backgrounds who did not fully understand the importance of this. Please ensure that all spaces are kept clean and tidy at all times.
