Felipe and Valentina were very organized, involved and proactive in assigning our volunteer work tasks. They also went out of their way to give their volunteers unique experiences of their city, like visiting a night plant market, an ecological reserve and a local indigenous cultural center. Their interest and support of indigenous art, cultural traditions and provding opportunities is impressive. As is their efforts to make guests and volunteers feel welcomed. The camaraderie of the many dedicated volunteers was inspiring. I hope to return.

Filipe is very organized and thoughtful. He knows what he wants done and gets volunteers to work according to their expierience. The hostel is full of plants and indigenous crafts which provides a unique and warm vibe. All of the other volunteers were very welcoming. Filipe and Valentina took the time to bring us to night markets and on a trek through a wonderful park on the edge of Bogota. If you don't mind a bit of hard work I highly recommend a work stay here.

At the guest house everyone was very welcoming from the beginning, staring from the hosts to the other volunteers; made me feel part of and included me on their group. Tasks were clear and hours were respected, volunteers supported each other and work as a team to get everything done. Got to meet people from different places and background and share our own stories, they also organize activities to interact and get to know each other better. Happy to participate in this experience and would recommend it to other travelers. Plus the hostel is really well located and connected.

This was my second time at the guest house (yes, I loved it THAT much). I worked on repairs, focusing on improving the overall room quality patching and painting. Hours & tasks are straight forward and communication was fluid, despite my lack of fluent Spanish. Felipe & Valentina da great job selecting friendly volunteers, this was my favorite thing-it felt like a family which made my experience one to remember. I hope to come back and spend more time with everyone in the future. Until then, I highly recommend this volunteering opportunity to anyone looking for an immersive experience.

I had an amazing time at the guest house! Felipe and everyone there helped me out so much, from showing me the best local places to helping me improve my Spanish. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to find a new home on the other side of the world<3
