A perfect host! This was my first packer experience and it was absolutely perfect! I'm actually really sad to leave the place because I definitely found a home. Time flies! The staff members are amazing! Sunny, Ken, Cindy, Mia, and Amanda are lovely people, kind, enthusiastic, and always here for you. They bring you small attention (yum bubble teas) and I had memorable nights. Work is not complicated and we worked for an average of 3 hours (12 to 3 pm). I had plenty of time to hike, go to Taipei, and hot springs, and chill or nap. Would definitely recommend it See you soon!

This was my first worldpackers experience, so I was not 100% sure what to expect - but it ended up being great! We cleaned on average two hours a day, so there was a lot of time outside of work hours to explore the city. You will also likely work alongside other volunteers which is helpful to meet other travelers. The staff is all very nice and included us in events to learn more about Taiwanese culture!

This was my first Worldpackers experience, and I absolutely loved it. I stayed here a month and a half and the time flew by. The staff is amazing and they make you feel welcome and almost make you feel part of a family. They share a lot about their culture and a lot of food, so you will learn a lot about Taiwanese culture. The work is easy and with the other volunteers, it is fun. The work mostly only takes 2 hours per day. And I got to meet a lot of other volunteers and other people staying in the hostel. It was a wonderful stay and I am going to miss this place. Would love to come back!

Staying at the hostel was a really great experience! The staff were very kind and welcoming. Whenever you had questions they were there to help and we also spend evenings cooking and eating together. The work was doable and the working hours depended on how much work and how many volunteers there were. Most off the days it was just a little over 2 hours of work. Beituo, although it is a bit far from the city center, is a lovely neighborhood and well connected to the MRT. Overall it was a wonderful stay and the staff and volunteers I met were all great people and I would love to return one day:)

In the beginning I got to Taipei just waiting until I can go back to Korea and expected nothing big from my time here but this experienced proved me wrong.the hostel staff and other volunteers welcomed me so warmly, immediately making me feel welcome and at ease. When I got sick they cared for me with such love that I never felt homesick. With time they made me appreciate Taiwan and what an amazing country it is and I'm saddened to leave such an amazing place behind, but I will definitely be back to Taiwan, the most friendly and beautiful country I was able to travel to! Thanks everyone!!❤

I had a wonderful time at the hostel. All of the staff are so kind and welcoming, you feel like you're part of the team from day 1. We even celebrated the holidays together. The work is very straightforward housekeeping and cleaning work (about 15 hours a week). But I never got bored of it still and it was always fun working. The location of the hostel is optimal. Beitou alone has so many beautiful gems to offer, and central Taipei is only about 40 minutes away. I couldn't have asked for a better time. I will definitely cherish this experience and all the great people I got to meet.

I enjoyed so much being here, I even extended my stay. the staff is really cool and warm, as well as the other volunteers : always up to show me food I don't know and take time to help me practice my Chinese ! The place is chill and clean, there's also different spots inside, and the location is convenient : near the street market and the MRT station. I recommend the hostel ! !

The hostel is an amazing place to develop your volunteering spirit. You have incredible people there like Jayson, Sunny, Mia, Ruddie and of course the boss, Sicca. All of them made me feel welcomed and as part of them, not only because they helped us with the shift task, also because they were friendly and always had something to share, recommendations for restaurants, tips for travel around and also food! As a foreign student, meeting the hostel staff I could see the kindness of Taiwanese people and learnt new Chinese words too!
