It was my first time volunteering and also my first time in Taiwan. Everyone treated me with so much respect and I really felt cared for. The work was easy and they explained everything kindly! so nothing was difficult. Since the shift is only 3 hours, you have plenty of time to visit nearby attractions. I genuinely recommend this hostel. Thank you for the precious memories!

I absolutely loved my stay in the hostel, all the staff is so nice and friendly and made me feel welcomed since the first day. I got a chance to meet so many people and had fun knowing all of Taipei. And the location is great, Beitou is a vibe. I'm so thankful with this experience and I'm really looking forward to come back! Definitely made my stay in Taiwan way better!

I had the most amazing time at the hostel, I would 100% recommend it to anyone considering. The work is cleaning and bed making for a few hours and gives you the rest of the time to explore beitou/taipei/new taipei! The team are so kind and supportive and you really feel welcomed. The hostel itself has a wonderful relaxed vibe and it is easy to meet warm friendly people. There is always free toast and hot drinks available as well as a hot plate and a pot if you wanna cook noodles and beds have privacy curtains!! Many vegetarian restaurants nearby for the veggies out there :)

I loved my time at the hostel. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming - showing us local traditions like the ghost festival and offering us traditional sweet treats to try. The work itself is simple and few hours, leaving plenty of time to explore Beitou and further in Taiwan. The hostel itself has a lovely chilled vibe so i felt really comfortable here. We made some amazing friends and had such memorable experiences, i really recommend this worldpackers to other volunteers!

I had a great time volunteering at the hostel. The work is very easy and most days we were done in 2 hours as long as you work together well. The staff were all very nice! They also gave great tips on what to do in Taiwan. The location of the hostel is good as well. There is a MRT station very close by, which makes it easy to get around Taipei. I would definitely recommend people to volunteer at this hostel!

Oh I loved it! The hostel was very cute and the staff was super nice. With the three hours of work time flies by super fast and as the hostel itself is very clean from the start it's very easy to finish work quickly. The staff are a big support when it comes to that and they also help you lots with recommendations on what to do in your free time in Taiwan. I got to learn a lot about the culture and made some very good memories. I would recommend this experience!

I did this program for 2.5 weeks and was genuinely sad to leave because it felt like home at the hostel. The staff is incredibly sweet and always there to talk to – they'll help you in any way they can. The days can be a bit busy, but you're always done after a maximum of three hours. On some days, Sunny surprised us with Taiwanese snacks and sweets, which was a lovely way to experience more of the local cuisine. This is definitely for you if you're looking for a chill environment with a structured daily plan. It's also super easy to get to the city by MRT.

This was my first volunteering experience and I absolutely loved it! Would totally come back! Beitou is a great peaceful place to stay at, the staff is so kind and it was so fun to learn about Taiwanese culture from them. The tasks are easy and it's nice that you'll never do them alone. We always finished early and had the rest of the day to ourselves. I was able to make some great friends to explore Taipei with <3 gonna miss you all!
