I had such an awesome experience! They live in a beautiful village and the farm is stunning. The meals are fresh and delicious, the dinner time is the perfect opportunity to talk and share stories, they have good experiences and knowledge to share. The animals are very friendly, I definitely fell in love with them. The tasks are very interesting and you will have a great time interacting with the nature. Make sure that you're packing comfortable clothes, sunscreen, hat and mosquito spray. You will definitely have an awesome experience and learn a lot. Thank you. :)

I learned alot about permaculture here, it was a very rewarding experience, I think I will try doing it at home. The work hours were respected, the surrounding area is quiet and beautiful, the bus stop to arrive at the house is about 25 minutes away on foot. I would advise to pack up a hat, sunscreen, raincoats, etc. I wish the best to Mr Philippe and his family, thank you for your hospitality.

My stay at Rachelle and Philip's was great! Their project is fantastic. The work is exciting and enriching to learn about permaculture. The setting with the anniamux is relaxing, calm and healthy. The region is super beautiful to discover Provence by bike or hiking. It is super well served by transport. Thank you again very much for your warm welcome and your patience to communicate with me in English. I hope that your project will continue to grow. See you soon

This was a great experience! Rachel, Phil, Freddy and Frankie are great people. We had meaningful work in the garden preparing for winter and spring and it was varied with other jobs including animal care, preserving of vege and maixtenance. All great learning experiences in truely ethical and sustainable vegetable growing. A fantastic balance of work and time off. Plenty to do near the farm. The garden bell tent was perfect . Very very comfy with great privacy for the helpers and hosts. Food was great and plenty and bathroom A1. Thank you . Hope to stay in touch! X

I had the most wonderful stay here! rachel and phil were very welcoming as soon as i arrived, and the company was always lovely (although, be careful playing card games with frankie - it can get brutal ;) the tasks were never too hard, and the work was changing regularly so you get a good feel for how the farm works - makes it fun and a good learning experience! the surrounding villages are also beautiful to explore on your days off (accesible by bus) and the closest can be walked to. i did this experience solo, but can imagine it being extra fun for couples/pairs of volunteers.

My time with Rachel and Phillip was simply fantastic! I felt totally at home from the very first day. Rachel and Phillip are so incredibly welcoming and included me in their lives straight away, which made it super easy to settle in. They were always there for me, whether it was for tips, a nice chat or just to make me feel like part of the family. We had so many great times together, whether it was at dinner, at work or just relaxing evenings. I really appreciated this warmth and cordiality!

What a stunning place in the world being the garden everyday was lush really got stuck in with plants. Watering first thing everyday and seeing them developed was great to see. Rachel and Phillip are lovely hosts very caring and very hard working to make this place work and what a place they have created. The hours are very reasonable and seem to go by very quickly. As my first experience it was an awesome way to experience solo travelling. Plenty things to do and see with a bus 20 minutes from the house and can see lots of very cool and interesting villages. Thank again for your hospitality

The Halliwells were amazing hosts. All very welcoming, understanding and kind. The daily tasks were all easily completed and nothing too strenuous especially in the heat of the week. Working hours were great and you have enough time to complete tasks and then go explore surrounding villages. The food was all really good and it was nice to spend time with the family. Just be warned that a games of cards against Frankie after dinner could have you losing all dignity 😅.

Hi Tyla, Frankie thinks we should frame your drawing and put it on the wall! I shall treasure it for sure!

Rachel, Philip and their family were really welcoming and generous in opening their home so thoroughly to us volunteers. The tent was comfortable and the pool was brilliant on a hot day. The hours were respected, not hard and gave good amounts of time to explore the beautiful towns and locations in the area. I loved my stay so much and would definitely recommend this experience.
