Aurelien is a person who loves to share and made me feel welcome. We learned some new building skills, we went hiking, he took us kayaking and I got to have some great talks with him. Overall it was a great experience!

My stay was a bit underwhelming. Communication with the host proved difficult. He is a man of few words and prefers to work alone. Attempts on my part to create conversation were ignored. Working hours were a bit vague and not always respected. The work consisted mainly out of pulling weeds. It was rather hard. On the other hand there was plenty of free time and the host does take you out or drops you off to go sightseeing. Dinner is around 21pm, too late for me unfortunately. Overall, with more open communication things would improve.

Wendy, you have to understand that you can not impose your own rules to a group or to the host.
For the work yes I oftenly work alone and give in same time tasks to other people, nothing impose me to absolutly work with volunteers.
The hours are vague because we are outside in the countryside, everything can change and that's not in my mind to impose things to people, because also I am not a big fan to be restricted and receive orders, that's why.
Cheers

My stay here at „the eco village“ was great! I had a lot of fun with Aurel and other volunteers, we went on many trips and sat together in the evenings. The place and surroundings are beautiful, hiking or riding bike was so nice. It's very connected to nature and I'm grateful that I had the chance to work and live there. Aurel is always flexible, friendly and his lifestyle impressed me. We talked and laughed a lot. I will remember this amazing experience for long, thank youu! :)

I had a really great time at Aurélien's place! The localization and landscapes are amazing and the set up he create is very cool. It was a great place to live all together and chill. Aurélien also took a lot of his free time to drive us around to discover our surroundings which was really nice and help us bond even more with the host and the other Worldpackers. I would totally recommend!

My Stay with Aurel was a lot of fun. He is a very chill guy and his „the eco village“ is a very nice place to stay. He is really flexible with basically everything from food to the work. The work was good and afterwards we always did something cool like going swimming in a beautiful river nearby. I had a lot of deep conversations with him and other volunteers. I can recommend the eco village to anyone looking for nature and cool people to talk to and hang out with. P.S. ohhh jeez

Aurelien is a very chill and caring guy. If there is anything that bothers you, do not hesitate to ask him, he really tries to create your stay as comfortable as possible. The tasks varied from gardening, cutting small trees to constructing. We really enjoyed this work and the working times were always clearly communicating. We are very thankful for the trips we almost everyday made after our shifts!!! We went to the national park, snorkeling or jumping, to beautiful places at a lake, shopping and also got the opportunity to visit the Peniscolar. It was an unforgettable time! Thank you!!!

When I first arrived at the place I thought this stay gonna be boring, because it's in the middle of nowhere, half an hour from the next city. But Aurelien makes this stay more than rememberable. The task where not to hard and we never worked too much and after the work Aurelien drives with us to the city's, the beach or the lake. There are some astonishing places around and it was great that we could see all of them.

We were the first volunteers at Aurelien's "the eco village." And even though he hadn't so much experience, he tried his best to make the experience as comfortable as possible. The work was hard but the work hours were manageable and usually after work we went to do something to chill. Unfortunately, I had to leave earlier than expected but the experience overall was great.
