This was my first worldpacker experience, and I gotta say, I was not disappointed. Aurelien is a very nice guy, Boulette is the cutest cat, the place is really beautiful, we were strongly connected to nature. We work a few hours in the morning (around 3h-3h30) and then we have a lot of cool activities in the afternoon: swimming in the river, going on hikes, to the beach, biking… The work is challenging but not too hard, there was physical work and also a little more artistic work (painting, carving wood…). I would 100% recommend this experience!

This was my first volunteering experience and I had an amazing time! Aurélien is a super funny guy always up for an adventure. Every afternoon after doing little tasks in the morning we would go down to the beach, the river or go on a hike. We also got to visit Peñiscola, Morella and Vinaros which were all super pretty. After dinner we often had a movie night with Aurelien's handbuilt speakers which felt like an outdoor movie theatre. I really enjoyed my time there and highly recommend this experience!!

I had a great time, despite leaving a bit early (rain). Every morning we'd do some work around the eco village, depending on what needed improvement. I soldered a chimney, cut down dead trees, chopped firewood, and built a roof for a fireplace, all in the span of a couple days. With more time you can really improve carpentry and bushcraft skills. After work we got out the emtbs and saw the mountains around the place, was awesome! I'd note that the eco village is very remote and there isn't room for many. if you're looking to meet many people this might not be the best fit. Very glad I came, thanks!

At first, life in the 'campo' was very different from what I'm used to. However, Aurel made sure I had everything I needed. He was very friendly and funny and every day I felt more at home, in the end it was even strange to go back to the city :D We did activities every day, highlights were the e-mountain bike rides to Peñiscola and the river, beautiful landscapes! The food we ate was also really good, specially when we ate outside. I learned a lot of things, from changing a bike wheel to doing some carpentry. Definetely recommend!

I went into this experience hoping to learn about sustainability, and new hands on skills. I left very early and was made to feel el uncomfortable to leave a review. However I think it is important for future volunteers. I give space for the language barrier and cultural differences, but there were some comments and concerns that I felt were uncomfortable and inappropriate and I think some things in the description were misleading, and I was put in unsafe situations. I did learn some new skills, and also what to look for in my next experience, but be sure to ask questions before confirming.

Thanks for this review that will help me to avoid this kind of situation. Yes you have to read the description and be ready to have to do efforts with the host. I did too with you but after few days of grumpy faces every morning and beeing crazy about my way to be I stopped to talk to you of course. I try to explain as much as possible in my description but that comment is a help for me thanks. SO if you read this and are not ready to accept French/European way of life please do not apply!

Anna and I are grateful to Aureliano for his hospitality and dedication to his work. His connection with nature is incredibly harmonious—he adapts the space to fit his project while caring deeply for the surrounding environment 🌱 Working with him is both pleasant and flexible. We arrived during rather cold days, and he did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. He also helped us with the road, for which we are especially thankful 🙏🏻 I wish this project continued growth and success in sharing its experience of connecting with nature and oneself with others ⭐

I felt very welcome in the eco village and enjoyed my stay. The work was easy. I was most of the time painting the walls or wood. I arrived at a time, were it was already getting colder, but aurel was always making sure, that it was warm and we still could da lot of trips to the next city's or to the beach. Thank you:)

Aurelien is a very cool guy and made me feel at home quickly. The project is a really nice and unique place with absolutely stunning scenery and nature around. The work I did was not too hard and I also enjoyed the bike trips after work. I can recommend this project, especially if there are also some other volunteers because it's a great place to hang out with others and have a fun time. As it is quite far from a big city, on your own it can be rather quiet. I really enjoyed the time I could spend in the eco village, Thank you :)

Aurélien is a really friendly, easy going person. He is flexible and open to suggestions when it comes to the work, food, leisure, basically anything. We had some good laughs together, and he took us on bike trips through the mountains which was amazing! He built his own soundsystem which we used to watch a movie - as someone involved in the eco village and music i really enjoyed that. I learned a new way to make pizza (I think he should start his own food truck ;)) and I learned some things about carpentry as well. Too bad I could only stay for a week! But I will definitely try to pass by again
