The Experience

Hi travelers I am Kaze. who fall in love with travel. yes, I am one of you guys. I made a place for backpackers in Gyeong-Ju in South Korea. Name is Doobaki. Gyeong-Ju is historic city where calm and cozy , peaceful place. I rode my motorcycle around this small planet. At that time, I thought of making a hostel where all travelers relax like home. And I did it.I can't handle this alone.Come to my house and let's make a nice and beautiful place .

What a place! Nice volunteers and an owner who is really looking after us! Me and my boyfriend spent 3 amazing weeks there. Don't underestimate little Gyeongju, there is a lot to see! Work itself wasn't hard, we got a lot free time to enjoy, but what really made it was the people. Thank you, the hostel family! Thank you, Kaze!

This was my first volunteer experience.I felt very comfortable here,Kaze and the volunteers treated me very warmly. The work was simple and easy.Kaze tried to organize my work schedule in such a way that I had as much free time as possible.I usually worked 2 days a week and could travel 5 days.Kaze never acted like a boss,he was always like a friend,an equal, family. Apart from breakfast,he always provided other delicacies/pizza,chicken/so we were never hungry. Free beer and soju were always available. We even received pocket money.Kaze was a wonderful caring host. The stairs here kept me fit:-)

Kaze threw a welcome party at the bar when we arrived, the place and other volunteers were warm and welcoming too. the hostel was our first Worldpackers host (with my wife), I'm glad we started here. 100% recommend! You will be unable not to love the guy and the place :D. Thanks Kaze. Important: here volunteers decide which days they want to work, its very flexible, once we needed 6 days free in a row to visit another city, we just switched working days with other volunteers. Team was excellent. Thanks again for everything! <3

There are honestly not enough words to describe how amazing this experience was. Kaze was 10000% welcoming, fun, incredibly kind and so much more. Everything was as it was listed on the profile (if not even better), I still had time to travel around South Korea which was wonderful and I made some amazing friends along the way. the hostel is truly a family and I will definitely return some day. (Hopefully soon!) This was my first Worldpackers experience and I couldn't have asked for a better one. Thank you Kaze!

Kaze has created a home for travelers and foreigners. Since the moment you arrive until you leave, he's there for whatever you need. I made friends I'll always cherish. We shared incredible dinners and walks with volunteers and guests. It's hard to leave the hostel's guesthouse, it becames family. And Kaze is otherworldly, pure heart.
