The Experience

Hi travelers I am Kaze. who fall in love with travel. yes, I am one of you guys. I made a place for backpackers in Gyeong-Ju in South Korea. Name is Doobaki. Gyeong-Ju is historic city where calm and cozy , peaceful place. I rode my motorcycle around this small planet. At that time, I thought of making a hostel where all travelers relax like home. And I did it.I can't handle this alone.Come to my house and let's make a nice and beautiful place .

I am so glad I was able to live one month with the hostel family. It was my first experience volunteering and I can't stress enough how good everything was. Kaze is an amazing person that truly understands the travelers mind and helps you tremendously with any situation. He makes you feel welcome and embraces the idea that all volunteers are family for him. Thank you for this wonderful experience! Hope to be there again soon🫶

I already miss being there so much! It was without doubt one of my favorite volunteer experiences in Korea. If you are choosing your first volunteering, I recommend this place because it is a great start. And if not, you will still enjoy it a lot with the group. Kaze is very kind and always makes sure we are comfortable and have time to keep traveling. I was lucky to meet a wonderful group and to be there during great dates with many city events. Gyeongju is a beautiful and cultural city, really worth visiting if you want to explore Korean culture more deeply.

It was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had. The warm, international atmosphere made every day feel lively, welcoming, and full of positive energy. The host was always present, attentive, and genuinely caring. There was always a kind word, a smile, and a feeling that we were part of a family rather than just volunteers. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, buying food for us and creating a space where everyone felt supported and appreciated. The guesthouse itself has a beautiful vibe, but what really makes it special is the heart behind it. Love you family✨

My experience at the hostel, was truly wonderful. The people I met there were amazing and made my stay unforgettable. This place really feels like a home, a space where you can share, learn, and grow together. The host is very kind and respectful, with a great ability to communicate: he knows when to be warm and when to speak seriously to keep order and harmony. I highly recommend this volunteering experience — it is truly enriching and leaves lasting memories.
