What you offer

Heeo was the best host in town ♥️ He knows SKorea and Andong by heart, always curious about travelling and sharing tips (he is a real backpacker too!) and above all : sharing his love for Andong. Thanks for your caring heart, even though you are a busy « businessman », you always made time for us and made this guesthouse feel like home. I learned so much at the guest house! (Big hugs to Alba too, without her my experience there would have been way less fun) Prepare to fall in love with Andong (and also for being non stop with people, guests or staff, which can sometimes feel heavy)

This volunteer experience was amazing in all ways possible. I really had an incredible time getting to know Andong and a lot of people. Such as the host and volunteers were so nice and welcoming, we really bonded and made my stay even better. The tasks are very simple and easy, and I think anyone can manage to get through them. I helped me a lot to know how to work in an environment with greeting people and how to work in receiving guests. The host, Heeo, makes sure that you feel comfortable in any way possible, he really is a great person. I'm so thankful for the time I spent here.

I had the pleasure to stay the guest house for one month. There were some calm and quiet moments, and slightly busier days. I genuinely enjoyed working there. Heeo made me feel welcomed and taken care of from the first moment. I spent a lot of time with him and the other volunteers, going on adventures the guest house and the countryside, cooking together, getting to know locals and travelers. I still had plenty of time to travel around and explore other cities. Heeo is truly a knowledgeable person, and taught me a lot about korean culture and history. My home away from home; I couldn't recommend it more!

I stayed at the guest house for two months and for most of the time I was the only volunteer there. Since it was a slow season, there were not many guests and thus not much work. Even though, the owner Heeo made sure I felt like at home, he is one of the kindest people I met in Korea so far! He also works as a travel agent so he always had many tips on where to go, how and what to do in different parts of Korea and the world. Thanks to him I also met some locals and made many foreigner friends. I am looking forward to visiting him and the town again 🥰

It was a place that made me feel at home, comfortable and productive. Mr Heeo was always gentle, kind and willing to explain the local culture and take us to beautiful places. The workload and hours are just as agreed upon, and we have plenty of time to walk or bike around and travel. Here, I experienced my first fall and my first snow, and it was as magical as I imagined it would be. Also for that, I fell in love with Andong and this city will always have a special place in my heart, and I'll come back soon. Totally recommend this experience. I had an amazing time here.
