The Experience

Victor and Michelle were fantastic - friendly, approachable and always responsive. The other volunteers were equally welcoming and made me feel at home. Shifts were fair and exactly as agree to. Since it was my first volunteer position there was a bit of a learning curve, but they made the transition smooth and easy. Hostel is clean and central to the city. I would definitely return!

The hostel was an excellent experience. Victor and Michelle, the owners, are very kind and respected the agreed schedules. The hostel is centrally located, near a market, transportation, and the cathedral, making it very convenient. It's also an alcohol- and smoke-free space, ideal for a family-friendly environment. They offer the possibility to earn commissions by selling rooms. I highly recommend this place both for staying and volunteering.

I felt welcomed from the moment I arrived. I was given a tour about the place, shown my bed and task I'd be doing during my stay from November 23 2022 to December 14 2022 (3 weeks) There were at times that I wish there was more communication with a set menu and knowing what guest would be checking in/out. My overall experience was good, I had plenty of time to relax and walk about the city. I have meet many amazing people I will always remember. :) Eli, Guadalupe, Janny, Jose, Luis, Michelle, Victor, Fernanda, Silvia…
